I used to come to this place for the lamb gyro, fries and a drink special when I started work. Decided to try them again, still to this day they can make a good gyro special where you get a custom gyro (I like grilled onions and hot sauce), with fries and a drink for a good price. The food and friendly service is good, the inside seating, decor and moving dollys could use an overhaul, hoping they can modernize that soon now that they have the Babcock Blvd new restaurant opened up. If you are downtown and want a great gyro special, this place is a must try. Just get it to ho or eat in but ihnore the decor and age of the place.

One of the best Gyros I've ever had ! Full of meat and plenty of toppings at a very reasonable price! Bit of a dive but a must try!

I'm giving 4 stars cause I've only been there once.. my inclination is 3.5. What's good? The service. Servers were trying very hard to keep up and were engaged. What packed? The wings weren't tossed in the sauce, and were on the small side. The ambiance was also quite sparse.

Ahh, the perfect drunk food...as long as you are prepared to pay for it later! In a beautifully old fashioned, unassuming space, two GyroKones spin alluringly. The sandwich, wrapped in foil backed paper, of course, is damn near perfect. My husband protested that the meat was too salty, but that is the whole POINT. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, white sauce, floury pita - perfection. And the fries were great, too, tasting like actual potatoes, irregularly cut, and with little packets of salt included in the bag! That being said, I was sick for two days after consuming. I would probably do it again if i was drunk enough.

Excellent gyro! Flavorful meat, lettuce and feta, tzatziki on the side. Just wish they had red onion instead of white. Zero atmosphere so I took mine back to my hotel for lunch. Glad I stopped in (Weiner World was closed for vacation so this was my backup!)
